Rockwater has extensive experience in preparing and implementing groundwater monitoring programmes. Groundwater is monitored in operational borefields, around mine pits and around waste disposal and storage facilities. Landfill and industrial sites are also monitored to establish background conditions and define and monitor any contamination plume.
Sample collection, preservation, storage and transport are conducted using strict protocols to ensure accurate, representative and repeatable results. Our staff are trained and experienced in collection of water samples to Australian guidelines (AS/NZS 5567:1998 Water Quality Sampling series). The results are assessed and reported by qualified environmental and hydrochemical staff.
