Rockwater’s team of Environmental Scientists, Botanists and Hydrogeologists conduct biological and ecological investigations over the terrestrial environment including baseline surveys, vegetation mapping programmes, targeted flora surveys and environmental impact assessments covering several disciplines. In addition, Rockwater’s environmental division can carry out freshwater aquatic, marine and groundwater ecology studies. A complete range of groundwater environmental studies can also be designed and implemented. The firm prepares scientific reports for the aforementioned areas and offers the expertise to facilitate project environmental approvals and efficient environmental management.
Flora and Vegetation Surveys Rockwater has completed a number of flora and vegetation surveys for clients in many regions of Australia. Surveys have generally occurred along proposed exploration drill lines but have also included vegetation monitoring to determine the effects, if any, of groundwater drawdown on surrounding vegetation.
